I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science at George Washington University, specializing in International Relations and Comparative Politics. I am on the job market for the 2026–2027 academic year.
My research examines the politics of race and racism in international institutions. I study patterns of racial impunity within international legal institutions, explaining both progress toward antiracist practice and instances of backtracking. I am also interested in questions of global hierarchy and how digital investigative tools shape the efficacy of transnational advocacy.
My teaching interests include international human rights, IR theory, and race in IR. Course descriptions and my teaching ethos are available here.
I hold a BA in Political Science from Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter College and an MA in Political Science from George Washington University.
